If you’re plugged into the local fashion scene, you’d have known by now that Chanel has opened a pop-up store at Scotts Square!
You read that right – to commemorate their Spring/Summer 2016 collection, Chanel has partnered up with On Pedder to bring their travel-themed offerings to our sunny shores. The pop-up store occupies the entire second level of Scotts Square, and is a wholly immersive experience for the shopper. The walls and floor are decorated, and there are props like airport trolleys to really unify the mood.
I was so lucky to get an invite to the opening of the pop-up from my uncle, Aldrin, who was the DJ for the night. Here’s what I wore:
Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser
Skin79 Orange Vita Super Plus Triple Function Beblesh Balm Cream
Skin Food Salmon Darkcircle Concealer Cream
Clinique Quick Blush
Sephora Sun Disc Bronzer
Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder
Etude House Face Color Corset
KATE Eyebrow Color
H&M Nudes Eyeshadows Palette
Eyeko Sport Waterproof Mascara
Fresh Sugar Coral Tinted Lip Treatment
Outfit of the night:
Dress: Love, Bonito
Bag: Mango Touch
Boots: Miista via LeftFoot
I love the collection! It reminded me of a carefree resort collection mixed with a slightly serious business vibe. Very appropriate for easing into the Spring/Summer seasons, I think.
Cute brooches for when you want to add just a touch of Spring to your look.
This brings Kendall Jenner’s sleek street style to mind for me.
Loving the mannequin diversity. Body types are all still the same, but at least it’s a step.
These Chanel-stamped espadrilles calling forth tropical memories.
When you and your bestie are lowkey #twinning.
Got my nails done at the Chanel nail bar! The shade is Rouge Essentiel, and I love it – it’s the perfect shade of cherry red.
It was a fun night! I met some of my uncle’s friends, checked out the stuff on display, drank a little too much champagne and ate tapas, including a bunch of foie gras. Damn, Chanel knows how to throw a party.
