Skipped out for an impromptu day with some of my girl friends on Tuesday! It was so funny because Ashley actually suggested it, but she almost couldn’t make it in the end! She asked for a day out for shopping but it turned out that the only day most of us could make it was on that day itself, but Ashley had a family dinner that night. It was all a very hanging-by-a-thread, precarious arrangement, but we all turned up and it was wonderful.
We went to Eighteen Chefs (my first time there) and I was surprised at how wallet-friendly it is! The portions were appropriate for us, and the student sets came with a drink and ice cream.
I ordered a Be Your Own Chef Student set, with a double cheese baked rice, creamy mango sauce and scrambled eggs. It was nice on paper, but when it arrived, it got old pretty quickly. It tasted interesting, but I couldn’t finish the last bit of rice that had quite a bit of mango sauce mixed with the egg and cheese. I guess the proportions are really important with this combination…
We headed down to The Editor’s Market after lunch, where we tried on some outfits and I found this beautiful dress!
Then on to Forever 21, where I bought nothing but found this really pretty skirt!
Unfortunately, the quality (as with most things in Forever 21) wasn’t very good, so I didn’t get it. It was really pretty, though.
Stefanie left first, followed by Ashley and then Cheryl, leaving just Yun Rong and I to gallavant around by ourselves… to Topshop.
I bought the cuff, Rong bought the choker, and it was one-for-one, so it came up to about $9 each!
We also ended up eating at Everything with Fries for the first time:
… and I nearly forgot to take photos of us because we were wearing matching outfits! (sort of)
White top + jeans.
